Before you board
- How long
- 60 minutes on board; arrive 15 minutes early.
- Who can sail
- Recommended for ages 9 and up; children from 7 can join a family crew.
- How hard
- Pirates is rated 6 out of 10 and Pirate Island 7 out of 10. Hints come over the speakers whenever you ask.
- Which first
- Either can be played first; each is its own room with its own set and puzzles. Many crews start on the galleon.
- What to expect
- No crawling, no tight spaces and no smoke. Dim, moody light; story and hints in English over speakers, with maps, notes and riddles to read.
- Private
- Every session is private to one booking. A panic button opens the door early.
- What to wear
- Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, Jack Sparrow or a lowly deckhand all work. Talk like a pirate the whole way. Eye patches optional; closed shoes aren’t.
